Roblox Games Can Soon Launch as Standalone Apps

Roblox developers will soon be able to release their projects as standalone applications for PC, smartphones, and consoles. The games will still run on Roblox technology but operate as separate builds.

Crossplay with players using the regular Roblox client will be enabled automatically, allowing users in standalone apps and the main client to play together.
