Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive consider FiveM the only officially authorized platform for GTA V. The FiveM team has been working for Take-Two for a year
What is already known:
— From today, the creation of new servers on RAGE MP is prohibited
— Access to server tools for the general public has been closed
— Existing server administrators still have access to the latest versions of the builds
— It was also previously announced that the alt:V platform had announced the end of its operations at the request of Take-Two on February 9th
— From June 1, 2026, public registration of servers will cease
— The final shutdown and end of support is expected on August 31, 2026
— After this date, the client, server tools, and all RAGE MP infrastructure will be deactivated
All servers with RAGE MP are urging users to switch to FiveM. Majestic servers will not be affected — they have their own launcher. GTA 5 RP will also continue to operate on their own launcher
