The final build of the game remaster was leaked online, which completely loses to the original 2009 version:
🟠The developers managed to ruin something that worked: the remaster is full of bugs and broken mechanics;
🟠Some levels from the previous part are simply missing (the ice one and others);
🟠Loading screens (!) between menu tabs;
🟠Upscaling and its traces are found in the final build;
🟠Music tracks are mixed up on many levels.
Even the original PvZ soundtrack author criticizes the mess: the remaster failed to deliver the dynamic music that was in the original 16 years ago.
